To earn the Polar Bear designation, an athlete must successfully hold the Bear Hug Challenge™ wrap for 3:00 minutes or longer.
The Bear Hug Challenge tests grip strength, upper body endurance, lower body endurance, mental toughness, and determination. Few athletes reach the Polar Bear level.
