To earn the Black Bear designation, an athlete must successfully hold the Bear Hug Challenge™ wrap for 0:30 seconds or longer.
The Bear Hug Challenge tests grip strength, upper body endurance, lower body endurance, mental toughness, and determination. The Black Bear level marks the beginning of the journey and proves you've earned your place in the challenge.
